Industrial Engineering Co-Op

Essential Job Functions:
The Industrial Engineer provides all aspects of industrial manufacturing shop floor support. This would include the ability to create new factory layouts, insuring all is correct the first time. Also perform Production Quality analysis, Production Capacity analysis, and Equipment Sequencing.

Other functions may include:
Time motion studies
Line Balancing Value stream mapping
Overall Equipment Effectiveness
Hardware management/procurement
Writing hardware specifications
Floor layout Design and Simulation on 3D Environment
5S, KANBAN and Kaizen initiatives
Qualifications: BS/BE in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management
SolidWorks knowledge
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint,

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Professional networking, interpersonal and customer-facing skills

Able to gauge workload to ensure deadlines are met.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Mostly shop floor environments, some office.
Moderate amounts of telephone and computer work.
Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.

Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
