Job Responsibilities
This is an opportunity to work with manufacturing engineers on the production line of a mixture of electrical, electromechanical, and mechanical assemblies used on airborne and ground based antenna systems. The goal of the internship will be to improve manufacturing yield of certain products lines as well as developing outsource packages for other product lines. Intern assignments will include but not be limited to: designing assembly fixtures, developing optimal work flow, creating standard work instructions, processing non-conforming material, conducting time studies on a high mix/low volume assembly line and implementing 5S work place organization. This Manufacturing Engineering Intern position will be a great opportunity to hold key responsibilities for process improvement on a small production team.

Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline 
  • Able to commit to a 10-12 week internship
