Industrial Engineering Internship - Summer 2020

LOCATION
Stratham, New Hampshire

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Purpose:
The individual in this position is responsible for data collection and the measurement of different performance indicators of varying scopes. Theis person remains actively involved in all aspects of assigned projects to includ analysis, implementation, and completion.


Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Conduct data collection & analysis
  • Support the Industrial Performance (IP) team with labor analysis of different kinds (task performance, time studies, labor analysis etc)
  • Support the IP team with data collection for our packaging material database
  • Support the Lindt Production Way (LPW) in creating a KMI/KPI structure and database.
  • Support LPW pillars (IP Team) with the collection of different defect modes.
REQUIREMENTS


Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:
  • Be a Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited University Degree Program - Preferably with a focus on Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and with MS software
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Process and results orientated
  • Team focused and collaborative
  • Ability to operate effectively and professionally in stressful situations
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must have solid written and verbal communication skills
Education:
  • Must be a currently enrolled student with a minimum of 3.0 GPA.
Other Requirements:
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skills
