Weld Engineer I

Real World Responsibilities:
During your time with us you will:
  • Provide weld specific engineering support to operations team
  • Improve fabrication processes through application of current and emerging weld technology, including automation
  • Support start-up operations of new product lines and provide daily engineering support for existing products
  • Develop and evaluate Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, and Special Manufacturing Instruction documents
 
As part of our team we will:
  • Provide you with real-work assignments that will provide you valuable experience as you begin your career

Must haves:
  • Pursing a degree in weld engineering or similar field
  • Ability to develop engineering drawings and schematics with minimal oversight
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as SolidWorks and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Nice to haves:
  • Welding, machining, and fabrication skills
  • Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks/projects at one time, and/or project management experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Positive and energetic
