Mechanical Engineer (reserved for students with disabilities)

Position Description
This position will be responsible for working cross-functionally with multiple departments to help drive programs to a successful launch. Plans and executes technical projects. Administers customer and governmental product specifications. Ensures costs, quality, timing and other related aspects of project targets are met. Participates in continuous improvements efforts. Researches, recommends, and implements new/existing processes, materials, and equipment. Performs other duties as necessary.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Solidworks, Catia, or other CAD suites.
  • Hands-on lab or manufacturing experience such as welding, machining, or assembly.
  • Familiarity with Java, C++, and/or Python a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
