Job Description
CVS Health offers a comprehensive internship program designed to engage students, impart valuable skills, and offer insight into a potential career path with a Fortune 7 company. Highlights include a structured program plan, hands on project work, access to mentorship and networking opportunities, and learning and development sessions. During the 10 week engagement interns will be in a supportive learning environment contributing both independently and on a team against key department initiatives. Competitive compensation is offered including a stipend for eligible candidates.

The Specialty Clinical Innovation team introduces technology, processes, and programs to improve patient care, overall experience, and provide highest level of cost effective care. Members of the team are high energy and progressive thinkers who research ideas and propose solution options throughout the 10 week experience

The scope of work for the internship includes:
o Developing working knowledge of the CVS Health Specialty business
o Support Specialty Clinical Innovation Governance Committee meetings
o Research and develop ideas for new innovations in specialty pharmacy
o Support at least one pilot (e.g., connected device, patient reported outcomes)
o Conduct research to support questions or project development

Required Qualifications
*Availability to work full time for duration of the 10 week program: June 3rd-August 10th

Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency with MS Office products including word, excel, powerpoint, outlook

- Previously speciality pharmacy experience 
- Strong computer skills

Education
Candidates must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at a 4-year college or university focusing on pharmacy and entering their senior year in fall of 2019 (current juniors) or in a pharmacy degree program in their 3rd or 4th year.
