Automation Engineer

 

SERVO-ROBOT is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with relevant engineering experience for the position of Automation Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support to SERVO-ROBOT’s customers in the USA.

SERVO-ROBOT is an internationally recognized manufacturer of 3D robot-vision systems dedicated to the control of robotic industrial processes such as welding. From our headquarters in Saint‑Bruno‑de‑Montarville, Quebec, Canada, we export most of our products worldwide including North America, Asia and Europe through our network of subsidiaries and partners. Our company serves many industrial sectors including automotive, heavy industry, marine, aerospace shipbuilding, energy and other key sectors.

1 Providing pre and post sales technical support to SERVO-ROBOT’s customers in the USA;

2 Programming, installation and maintenance of SERVO-ROBOT’s systems at customer’s site;

3 Analyzing customers’ applications and projects using knowledge of robotics, engineering and programming;

4 Creating and keeping up-to-date user manuals and other technical documentation;

5 Giving demonstrations and training courses to customers.

1 Degree in electrical/controls engineering preferred but equivalent degree also accepted;

2 Knowledge of robotics, programming and computer vision;

3 Knowledge of robot languages (FANUC Karel, ABB Rapid, etc.) is an asset;

4 Experience in the manufacturing industry;

5 Excellent communication skills;

6 Availability to travel to customer and integrator sites throughout the USA; 

7 Result and customer-oriented, autonomous, persistent, eager to learn.
