This is a full-time Commissioning & Qualification Engineer role supporting capital and operational projects in Central Indiana.
The C&Q Engineer II develops and executes qualification protocols across process equipment, utilities, and facility systems; performs installation and operational verification; supports FAT, walkdowns, start-up, and troubleshooting; and authors summary documentation. You will work directly with client teams, vendors, and project engineers to maintain schedule and budget and to ensure compliance with GMP and applicable regulatory standards.
- Take ownership of assigned equipment or system qualification packages, with appropriate technical review
- Identify, document, and support resolution of test discrepancies and deviations in accordance with client procedures
- Track assigned deliverables and communicate progress, schedule risks, and technical issues to the project lead
- Maintain accurate test records and follow client documentation, data integrity, and site safety requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment
- Hands-on commissioning and qualification experience with process equipment, utilities, and/or facility systems
- Clear written and verbal communication, including strong technical writing
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, equipment specifications, and relevant technical drawings
