C&Q Engineer I — Recent Graduate

ACE Technologies is hiring recent engineering graduates into our Commissioning & Qualification team. We welcome applications from all engineering disciplines and all backgrounds. This is a full-time, entry-level role.

C&Q Engineers develop and execute qualification protocols across process equipment, utilities, and facility systems in pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing. You will work directly with client teams, vendors, and project engineers to hold schedule and budget, and to deliver documentation that meets industry, client, and regulatory standards.

New engineers are paired with an experienced ACE engineer and given real technical ownership early.

• Assist with equipment walkdowns, drawing reviews, and qualification testing under the guidance and review of an experienced engineer
• Record test results accurately, identify discrepancies, and escalate questions or issues to the project lead
• Follow client documentation and site safety procedures while developing knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• No pharmaceutical experience required. Internship or co-op experience in a regulated, manufacturing, or technical environment is valued
• Chemical or Industrial Engineering degrees are especially well-suited to this role; familiarity with reading P&IDs from coursework is a plus, but not required
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain technical detail to technical and non-technical audiences
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with sound problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to organize assigned work and meet deadlines
