Java Developer

Description of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
Develop applications and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs with databases and external systems.
Develop AI-enabled application features using LLMs and Generative AI APIs.
Work with prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts.
Participate in design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
Learn new technologies quickly and contribute effectively in an agile engineering environment.
Qualification and Specialization:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
Unique Experience from this Role:
Build strong programming fundamentals in Java.
Gain hands-on knowledge of Spring Boot and the development of REST APIs.
Develop working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Build an understanding of Git, Maven/Gradle, unit testing, and CI/CD fundamentals.
Gain hands-on exposure to Generative AI / LLM-based application development.
Use AI tools such as VS Copilot and Claude Code to design and develop Java Spring Boot-based microservices.

What I changed: I preserved every original point and technology, while adjusting phrases such as “Strong programming fundamentals” to “Build strong programming fundamentals” and “Hands-on knowledge” to “Gain hands-on knowledge” so the JD is more appropriate for an entry-level opportunity without using “fresher” or “trainee.
