Entry Level Wireless Engineer Sterling, VA

Entry Level position – Students or recent graduates

You’ll assist in supporting Wireless Network testing activities at the client’s location. This may include, but not be limited to Supporting testing activities, troubleshooting devices, documentation, and reporting. This role requires 40 hours per week with 5 days per week in Sterling, VA. It may be required to travel for field testing within not only DC metro area but also outside locations within US as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team to conduct test activities on wireless products like Smart Phones, Tablets and connected cars using 4G/ 5G / Wi-Fi technologies.
• Assist in documenting test results and logs management.
• Assist with drive testing and provides support to other team members.
• Assist in reporting issues and observations during the activity.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with a very steep learning curve.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing degrees (in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related engineering fields) and are currently in their summer break.
• Desire to learn about various business/enterprise applications and tools.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to comfortably work within an Android, iOS, Linux and Windows 10 operating system environment.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, manage strict timelines and adhere to deadlines. Has strong organizational skills.
• Ability to operate independently and in a team environment with little supervision.
• Prior internship or professional experience preferred.

1. You need to be US citizen or Green Card or EAD or OPT 0r CPT

2. Must be over 20 years

3. This is a 1099 Independent contract position will you be, OK

4. A valid driver license

5. Willing to undergo a thorough background check/history including criminal and driving record no cost to you company will cover the cost.

6. Some technical back ground preferred

7. A technical education preferred.

8. Computer skills like creating and updating excel, word, data entry etc. may be needed.
