Economico Animal Clinic is seeking a skilled and dependable Biomedical Equipment Maintenance Specialist to help maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair veterinary medical equipment.We are looking for a technically experienced professional who understands the importance of reliable equipment in veterinary healthcare and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and operational efficiency.This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our clinic's operations while supporting our long-term vision of expanding into five additional states across the United States.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and maintain veterinary medical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.- Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment testing.- Troubleshoot equipment faults and coordinate repairs.- Assist with the installation, calibration, and testing of veterinary diagnostic equipment.- Maintain accurate equipment maintenance records and service reports.- Monitor equipment performance and identify potential technical problems.- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and authorized service providers when necessary.- Help ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer instructions and applicable safety requirements.- Maintain an organized inventory of equipment, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.- Recommend equipment upgrades, replacements, and maintenance improvements.

🎓 Qualifications

- A degree, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Equipment Technology, or a related field.- Experience maintaining or repairing medical, diagnostic, or veterinary equipment.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.- Knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment testing, and calibration.- Good organizational and documentation skills.- Ability to work independently and collaborate with veterinary professionals.- Experience with veterinary diagnostic equipment is an advantage.

💼 Work Arrangement

The work arrangement will be determined based on the clinic's operational needs and the successful candidate's responsibilities.Because this role involves equipment inspection, maintenance, and repairs, on-site work in Gardena, California, will be required for hands-on duties.
