Job Location: Clifton, NJ
Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked, and have every other Friday off
Job Description: As an Intern in the Systems Engineering role, you will assist in supporting the planning, development, and evaluation of system solutions across a variety of technical activities. The role involves contributing to analysis, testing, troubleshooting, and communication efforts to help ensure systems meet user and program needs.
Essential Functions:
Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
Develop test plans, procedures & cases
Conduct tests and document results
Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
Qualifications:
To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering
Preferred Skills:
Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
