Purpose & Scope of the Role
You will deliver high-quality technical assessments across noise, air quality, lighting, odour and radon for projects in the UK and Europe. Your work may include building acoustics, environmental and occupational noise surveys, vibration assessments, air quality monitoring and dispersion modelling, occupational exposure sampling, lighting surveys, radon assessments and the development of mitigation measures. Assessments may support standalone commissions, Environmental Statements or discharge of planning conditions.
You will work with clients including the UK MoD, Sainsbury’s, Amazon, local authorities and infrastructure developers, contributing to projects such as the Houses of Parliament, battery storage schemes, solar farms and other large-scale sustainable energy developments.
Your Impact in this position
You will help deliver practical, scientifically robust solutions that support safe, sustainable and well-designed environments. Working closely with the Head of NALO, you will help build and grow the team while collaborating with colleagues across Tetra Tech and sister companies, including RPS, Hoare Lea and NDY.

Training, Qualifications and Experience
You will ideally have a strong academic background, a relevant degree, preferably in a science-related discipline, excellent organisational skills and experience in a technical engineering or environmental consultancy environment. A full driving licence is preferred, together with flexibility to travel.
Working Environment
The role will involve office, site and client-based work, with travel as required. The role will be based in our London office, it is expected that you will spend more time in the office during the initial training and development period, with hybrid, remote or flexible working available as your experience grows and project requirements allow.
