We are currently looking for a Product Planning Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN. We're a collaborative team that takes customer insights and automotive trends and translates them into future Nissan vehicles, giving interns the opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping define tomorrow's products. This internship provides exposure to market research, competitive analysis, consumer insights, and product strategy while working alongside experienced product planning professionals.

 

A Day in the Life:

Analyze consumer, market, and competitive data and transform findings into Excel-based reports and PowerPoint presentations.

Develop charts, visualizations, and data-driven recommendations to support product planning decisions.

Support competitive benchmarking activities and help organize vehicle evaluations.

Research and identify emerging automotive, technology, and consumer market trends.

Assist the team with strategic projects that help shape future Nissan vehicle programs.

 

Who We’re Looking For:

Required:

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.

Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.

Ability to analyze automotive market, consumer, and competitive data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage projects independently.

Ability to develop clear, compelling, data-driven presentations and recommendations.

Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations based on data.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)

Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
