Join the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) team, where you'll contribute to groundbreaking innovations! We are seeking applicants for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Business and Finance Offices This role requires analysis, attention to detail, and compliance with processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processes invoices, produce reports, audit transactions, and audit files
- Assists with issuing, tracking, entering, and closing quote requests
- Creates requisitions and basic purchase orders
- Supports cross collaboration with Property, Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, Quality Assurance, Travel, Subcontracts, and Supply Chain
- Assists with self-assessments
- Supports supplier management activity
- Backs-up the travel coordinators for booking travel and reimbursing travelers
- Assists the small business liaison officer with small business outreach efforts, including collecting capability statements and attending business conferences
- Vets’ paperwork such as suppliers, including onboarding paperwork, market research, and tracking supplier status
- Assists subcontracts office with contract closeouts
- Assists the Supply Chain Senior Manager with operational support activities
- Represents the company with professional and ethical conduct when interacting with all contacts, including suppliers, customers, and colleagues
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer and problem-solving skills
- Strong ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Organizational and planning skills including the ability to support multiple individuals and tasks at one time
- Compliance with relevant processes and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in procurement, business, supply chain or related field
- Professional experience in a government contractor and/or R&D environment
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft, Adobe, and Atlassian products
Salary Range
- $32,000 - $60,000
- Salary commensurate on education and relevant experience
