Position Overview

Fisher Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support our project teams on large-scale industrial and commercial construction projects.

Fisher is a Washington-based design-build general contractor specializing in food processing, cold storage, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, and other specialized facilities. Our teams provide design, engineering, construction, and multiple self-perform capabilities.

The Project Engineer will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and design teams to support the successful planning and execution of projects.

This position can be based out of our Burlington, Vancouver, or Spokane, Washington offices; however, it is ultimately a traveling position and will require relocation to project sites throughout the U.S. for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day project management.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination.

Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and other construction documents.

Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, architects, and engineers.

Track RFIs, submittals, materials, change orders, and project documentation.

Assist with cost tracking, scheduling, and project reporting.

Participate in project meetings and help resolve project issues.

Support quality control and coordination of Fisher's self-perform work.

Work alongside project teams in the field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Construction experience through internships, co-ops, or previous employment preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Valid driver's license.

Willingness to relocate to project sites throughout the U.S.
