Junior Designer

Columbus, Ohio | Onsite | Full-Time

We're looking for a Junior Designer to join our team and directly support the Senior Designer across all Infrastructure projects. 

What you'll do

- Perform 3D modeling in Revit to support active Infrastructure projects - Produce General Arrangements, P&IDs, and Controls Location drawings under the guidance of the Senior Designer - Support multiple concurrent projects in both active construction and Pre-Con phases - Help the Senior Designer manage project timelines and deliverable schedules - Receive structured on-the-job training on company standards, workflows, and project-specific requirements - Coordinate with project teams to understand design needs and priorities

About you

- Some experience or coursework in drafting, design, or a related engineering/architecture field - Exposure to Revit or similar 3D modeling software — you don't need to be an expert, but you need to be willing to learn it seriously - Ability to work on multiple tasks without losing track of deadlines - Comfortable taking direction and asking questions when something isn't clear - Detail-oriented — drawings go out under our name, and accuracy matters

Nice to have

- Familiarity with P&IDs or Controls drawings - Experience in an infrastructure, industrial, or construction environment - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting technology, civil/mechanical engineering, architecture, or a related field
