Role Summary
Design, build, and enhance native iOS experiences within the Xfinity app, helping customers manage services, accounts, devices, and key self-service journeys through reliable, intuitive mobile experiences.
What You’ll Do
Build and maintain native iOS features for the Xfinity app using Swift and modern platform frameworks.
Translate product requirements and UX designs into accessible, responsive, and reusable mobile experiences.
Work with product, design, backend, middleware, QA, analytics, and release teams to deliver end-to-end customer journeys.
Integrate mobile experiences with GraphQL and REST APIs, including authentication, error handling, data mapping, and client-side state management.
Contribute to mobile architecture, reusable component libraries, engineering standards, and technical design discussions.
Improve application performance, stability, security, accessibility, observability, and overall customer experience.
Implement analytics, logging, experimentation, and feature-flag capabilities to support product measurement and controlled releases.
Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across the mobile app, APIs, network interactions, and integrated services.
Write unit, integration, and UI tests using XCTest, XCUITest, and UI automation frameworks.
Participate in Agile delivery, code reviews, CI/CD practices, release readiness, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of professional iOS application development experience, preferably on large-scale consumer applications.
Strong proficiency in Swift and native iOS SDKs.
Hands-on experience with SwiftUI, reusable UI components, navigation, and responsive layouts.
Experience integrating GraphQL and/or REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows, caching, and complex client-side state.
Practical knowledge of MVVM, Coordinator, or Clean Architecture and modular application design.
Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, and UI automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of iOS application lifecycle, privacy permissions, background execution, and Apple platform guidelines.
Experience using Git-based development workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing customer-facing apps in telecommunications, broadband, connected home, media, payments, billing, or account management domains.
Experience with backend-driven or server-driven UI, JSON schema-based rendering, or configurable mobile journeys.
Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, secure storage, identity, session management, API security, privacy, and mobile security practices.
Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, feature flags, and A/B experimentation.
Familiarity with Xcode, Swift Package Manager, and modern Apple development tools and App Store release processes.
Experience supporting applications with high availability, broad device coverage, and frequent production releases.
Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter is a plus, while strong native platform expertise remains the primary requirement.
