What You Will Do:

Capture requirements, design, test cases, and test procedures in accordance with program development plans and the objectives of ARP-4754B.

Integrate, validate, and verify system functionality in the lab

Technical collaboration among systems, hardware, AEH and software design functions.

Assist in resolving technical problems that cross hardware and software functional domain areas.

5-10% travel as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.

Experience with safety critical system, hardware, or software development (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, or ARP4754A/B).

Experience authoring and validating requirements.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with the avionics equipment certification process.

Experience working with stakeholders to generate concepts of operations and use cases.

Experience authoring in-depth technical documents

Experience working with and testing embedded hardware and software.

Experience developing automated tests utilizing scripting.

Excellent communication skills for both internal and external customers.

Adaptable to change, determined to accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborating with teammates to make the best decisions, enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment
