Job Role: The Quality Control Engineer- New Graduate is responsible for conducting quality inspections, managing and enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), leading quality investigations, and supporting improvement initiatives. Working closely with engineering and production teams, this role ensures our products meet rigorous internal standards and industry regulations.
Key Duties:
· Conduct detailed quality checks at all stages of fabrication.
· Maintain, revise, and improve SOPs to ensure compliance with standards and best practices.
· Lead investigations into quality issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to implement and validate quality solutions.
· Promote and lead continuous improvement efforts to drive quality, efficiency, and performance.
· Provide training and support to team members on quality procedures and standards.
· Maintain accurate quality documentation to meet internal and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
· Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience using tools and working with machinery.
· Welding experience highly preferred; must be capable of assessing weld quality.
· Skilled in investigation techniques and writing clear, actionable quality reports.
· Must be comfortable working at heights for inspections and quality checks.
· Willingness to travel nationally to various job sites as needed.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
· Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
· Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
· Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
· Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.
Preferences:
· Prior experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, particularly industrial settings.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Background in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance-related quality roles.
· Knowledge of ammonia and CO₂ refrigeration systems and safety/environmental regulations.
· Professional Engineering License.
