Research Analyst I

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated junior scientist to support an innovative development project in the Regenerative Medicine space. This on-site contract role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience, perform cutting-edge biomaterial characterization, and grow within a collaborative, fast-moving R&D environment.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Independently conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate and characterize biologic and synthetic implantable materials.
  • Utilize advanced instrumentation such as DSC, SEM, and Instron for mechanical and biomaterial testing.
  • Document, analyze, and interpret experimental data with accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Collaborate closely with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to modify experimental studies as needed.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation and present summarized research findings to project leads.

 

Qualifications: 

Required:

  • BS in Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 1+ years of hands-on laboratory experience (academic lab experience for recent graduates or industry experience).
  • Familiarity with biomaterial characterization techniques and testing instruments (e.g., DSC, SEM, Instron).
  • Proven ability to learn new technical concepts and scientific skills quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in MS Office.
