Data Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to turn complex datasets into actionable business and research insights. You will work closely with business, finance, and research teams to collect, analyze, and visualize data, develop analytical models, and support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate combines strong quantitative skills with practical experience in Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualization.

Responsibilities

* Collect, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources

* Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies

* Develop and maintain analytical reports, dashboards, and performance metrics

* Write SQL queries to extract, join, and transform data

* Use Python to perform data analysis and automate recurring workflows

* Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis

* Build data visualizations that communicate complex findings clearly

* Monitor data quality and identify inconsistencies or potential data issues

* Develop analytical datasets and reusable data-processing workflows

* Translate business questions into quantitative analyses

* Present findings and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams

* Support financial, market, operational, and strategic research projects

* Perform ad hoc analysis and other data-driven projects as needed

Qualifications

Required

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field

* Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

* Strong knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, or similar data-analysis libraries

* Strong Excel or spreadsheet skills

* Understanding of statistics and quantitative analysis

* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Excellent attention to detail

* Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

* Experience with Polars, Tableau, Power BI, R, or other analytical tools

* Experience working with large datasets

* Experience with financial, market, or business data

* Familiarity with databases and data warehouses

* Experience building automated data pipelines or analytical workflows

* Knowledge of machine learning or predictive modeling

* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS

* Experience in finance, investment research, consulting, or technology
