Machine Learning Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the development, training, and evaluation of machine learning models. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world datasets and modern machine learning technologies while gaining practical experience in building and improving AI systems.
Responsibilities
* Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
* Prepare, clean, and preprocess datasets for model development.
* Perform feature engineering and data analysis.
* Design and run experiments to improve model performance.
* Evaluate models using appropriate metrics and validation methods.
* Assist with model optimization and deployment.
* Research and experiment with new machine learning techniques and architectures.
* Debug and troubleshoot machine learning pipelines and model performance issues.
* Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and researchers on AI projects.
* Document experiments, methodologies, and results.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong programming skills in Python.
* Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms.
* Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a technical team.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
* Familiarity with deep learning and neural networks.
* Experience with LLMs, transformers, or generative AI.
* Familiarity with model fine-tuning and evaluation.
* Experience working with large datasets or GPU-based computing.
* Knowledge of SQL, Git, Docker, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
* Previous machine learning research, internship, or personal project experience is a plus.
