Vice President Business Analyst

A leading global financial services organization is seeking an experienced Vice President, Business Analyst to support strategic trading and investment management technology initiatives. This role requires deep expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), front-office operations, and capital markets workflows. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology teams, driving complex projects across trading, execution, and investment platforms.
 

Role:

📊 Lead business analysis activities for investment management and trading technology initiatives.

🤝 Partner with front-office stakeholders, product teams, operations, and engineering groups to deliver business-critical solutions.

📋 Gather, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and technical requirements.

🚀 Manage OMS and EMS implementations, migrations, integrations, and enhancement projects.

📈 Support trading workflows across Equities and Fixed Income asset classes, ensuring operational efficiency and scalability.

🔄 Coordinate project delivery using Agile, Scrum, and JIRA methodologies while managing stakeholder expectations.

🏛️ Work closely with trading venues, market infrastructure providers, and execution platforms.

👥 Lead and mentor small teams while collaborating with internal and external vendors.
 

Requirements:

🎓 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology, or a related field.

💼 15+ years of experience within financial services, capital markets, or investment management environments.

📉 Strong expertise with Order Management Systems such as Aladdin, Charles River, FlexTrade, Fidessa, TS Imagine, or similar platforms.

📊 Deep understanding of Equities and/or Fixed Income trading workflows and investment management operations.

🔗 Experience integrating OMS and EMS platforms and supporting end-to-end trade lifecycle processes.

💻 Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, trade data management, and market data systems.

📡 Understanding of FIX Protocol and electronic trading ecosystems.

📑 Proven experience creating detailed business requirements, process documentation, and solution specifications.

🎯 Experience managing front-office projects across buy-side and/or sell-side organizations.
