Compute Infrastructure Accounting Manager

A leading artificial intelligence and technology company is seeking an experienced Compute & Infrastructure Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting and financial reporting of large-scale infrastructure investments. 🚀 Role:

🔹 Own end-to-end accounting for infrastructure-related assets, leases, data centers, equipment, and technology investments.

🔹 Evaluate complex transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment under US GAAP.

🔹 Lead accounting operationalization for new infrastructure programs by developing scalable processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.

🔹 Partner with finance, legal, tax, procurement, engineering, and infrastructure teams on strategic initiatives and accounting matters.

🔹 Manage month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and balance sheet analysis.

🔹 Design and improve systems supporting lease accounting, fixed assets, data integration, and financial reporting.

🔹 Oversee accounting requirements related to special-purpose entities, intercompany transactions, and consolidation activities.

🔹 Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with financial reporting standards.

🔹 Translate complex accounting conclusions into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
 

✅ Requirements:

🔹 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, advisory, or finance functions.

🔹 Deep expertise in US GAAP, including ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), ASC 810 (Consolidation), ASC 360, and fixed asset accounting.

🔹 Strong experience evaluating complex lease arrangements, infrastructure investments, equipment financing, or data center-related transactions.

🔹 Experience managing consolidation accounting, intercompany accounting, and special-purpose entities.

🔹 Proven ability to build scalable accounting processes, operational frameworks, and control environments.

🔹 Hands-on experience with ERP and accounting platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.

🔹 Strong analytical, systems-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

🔹 Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical accounting concepts to executive stakeholders.

🔹 CPA or CA certification required.

🔹 Experience working in high-growth technology, infrastructure, cloud computing, or AI-related environments is highly preferred.

💰 Salary Range:
$216,000 – $240,000 USD annually
