Job Description
MT Studio is one of the top architecture firms in the Dayton area. We have also been nominated by the Dayton Business Journal as one of the Best Places To Work. Community involvement is a very important factor to us. We strive to have a fun but challenging work environment. We are growing in the community and nationwide as MT Studio works in over 30 states. This intern will also have a unique experience working with our sister company, Level MB Construction, which provides the opportunity for them to watch the process from design through construction.
The Architectural Intern will work collaboratively in a team environment, creating design and technical documents through all phases of architecture.
The MT Studio provides a unique opportunity for interns to work with a highly skilled and experienced licensed architect on a variety of projects including national accounts as well as local-community development projects.
The Principal architect with MT Studio also owns a commercial construction management firm which will allow interns to be involved with all facets of the design-build process.
. Troy is a great, local community only about 1 hour North of Cincinnati.
Skills needed:
- Proficiency in Design, Problem Solving, Sustainable Design, and emerging computer technologies
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with BIM 360, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Sketch Up graphic software a plus.
- Basic knowledge of architectural building systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively meet deadlines.
