Marketing Coordinator

Los Angeles-based landscape architecture practice who designs environments at a range of scales, including public parks and open space, educational campuses, housing developments, and commercial offices is looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic and diverse team.   

Candidates should be interested in working across a variety of marketing and office needs, including proposal packages, social media management, and other organizational tasks. The person in this role should be a self-starter, problem solver, well organized, possess strong communication skills, and be able to roll with the predictably unpredictable nature of a busy office. Preferred Qualifications 

 BA/BS Degree with a Marketing, Communications, Design, or English/Literature majors. 

 1-2 years of experience working at an A/E/C office is preferred but not required. Recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply.  

 Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.  

 Experienced graphic design and layout capabilities. 

 Knowledge of A/E/C industry proposal formats is preferred but not required. 

 Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. 

 Must possess above-average organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule, maintain clear file organization, and improve workflows to be more efficient.  

 Must be a critical thinker who is extremely detail-oriented. 

 Must be able to work in a deadline-driven environment. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities This role will report directly to the President. The right candidate will be trusted with a range of growing responsibilities and will be encouraged to explore their own ideas and suggestions to better our creative marketing presence and internal workflows. This individual should be highly motivated and possess strong key messaging and story development skills across all communications. As a design office, we embolden our staff to put forth diverse and creative ideas and would expect and encourage the Marketing Coordinator to contribute in this way.  

 

Responsibilities will include the following: 

 Develop and maintain proposal materials and templates including project sheets, staff resumes, and firm information in InDesign.  

 Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, content, and imagery. 

 Manage social media accounts under the guidance of the Marketing Director. 

 Conduct research on industry and market trends and competitors.  

 Collaborate with the marketing team on new marketing initiatives. 

 Assist with the coordination of award competition entries. 

 Contribute to office organization, structure, and administrative policies. 

 Support the office with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and assisting with office events. 

 

Schedule + Compensation 

This role is full-time and will require a minimum of 40 hours/week. This position is benefitseligible. Benefits include paid vacation, sick, holiday, and professional development time, as well as health insurance and 401K programs. Office is located in downtown Los Angeles. Employees are currently working on a hybrid schedule with both in-office and at-home work - commuting proximity to the office is required. Candidate will be required to be in the office full time for a minimum of 12 weeks before a hybrid-arrangement will be established with the supervisor. 

 

Salary range is $40-70k annually with benefits based on experience and skills.
