Grow Into Leadership at Origo Works

Origo Works is looking for a talented and ambitious Emerging Architect / Project Coordinator who is ready to take the next step beyond traditional production work.

This opportunity is ideal for a young architect or designer who wants meaningful responsibility, direct mentorship from firm leadership, and exposure to the full project lifecycle — from concept and client presentations to construction and development coordination.

The role combines architectural design, project coordination, team collaboration, and early leadership responsibilities within a fast-paced design-build environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in the design and documentation of architectural projects.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal project teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project reviews.
  • Support project scheduling, permitting coordination, and construction administration.
  • Help manage drawing production and project deadlines.
  • Contribute to design research, visualization, and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with senior architects and project managers on active projects.
  • Take increasing responsibility for managing portions of projects and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • 2–5 years of professional experience preferred.
  • Strong design and graphic communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and visualization tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Eagerness to grow into project management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

What We Offer

  • Exposure to civic, commercial, mixed-use, historic, and residential projects.
  • Real opportunities for growth and advancement.
  • A collaborative studio culture with hands-on project involvement.
  • Opportunity to work within a fully integrated architecture, construction, and development company.
