Role Summary
We are seeking a Logistics Risk Analyst based in Santa Ana, California. This role is pivotal in identifying, analyzing, and monitoring logistics-related risks through a data-driven approach. You will analyze operational data from various systems—including TMS, WMS, and ERP—to derive actionable insights and support comprehensive logistics risk management. While not required, bilingual proficiency in Korean is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze logistics data from TMS, WMS, ERP, and claim systems to identify risk patterns and anomalies.
Develop and maintain logistics risk dashboards, KPIs, and early warning indicators.
Track trends related to loss, damage, delays, and service failures.
Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using quantitative data and modeling.
Prepare regular risk reports and ad-hoc analyses for executive review.
Collaborate with IT and operations teams to improve data quality and system integration.
Provide data analysis support for audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments.
Propose process improvements based on data-driven findings.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain data analytics.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data matching, etc.).
Preferred Skills: Experience with SQL and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of TMS/WMS systems and logistics performance metrics.
Capabilities: Experience handling large datasets and building functional dashboards.
Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into business insights.
