Job Title: Design Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and creative Design Coordinator to join our team. This role is perfect for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience who are eager to start their careers in design. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of space planning, CAD software, Adobe Suite, Enscape, and ADA compliance. A willingness to learn and grow in the field is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and producing CAD drawings and plans for interior and architectural designs.
• Support the creation of presentations, design layouts, and other visual materials using Adobe Suite.
• Help create real-time renderings and visualizations using Enscape.
• Participate in space planning to optimize the layout and flow of interior spaces.
• Learn and ensure all designs comply with ADA standards and regulations.
• Read and interpret architectural plans and construction documents with guidance.
• Collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Employ strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and client needs.

Qualifications:

• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D drawings
• Expertise in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with Enscape or similar rendering software
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles and space planning
• Understanding of ADA compliance requirements
• Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and construction documents
• Strong understanding of measurements and technical drawings
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent coursework or internships.
• Internship experience or relevant coursework in design projects is a plus.
• Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the design field.
