Staff Consultant Civil Engineer

Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (Columbus, OH) to be responsible designing commercial, residential, mixed-use, real estate, and data center site development projects, including site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and intersection layouts; preparing land development plans for private and public projects, ensuring compliance with codes and standards; developing street signage plans, stormwater management systems, and erosion control plans to meet regulatory and environmental requirements; assisting project teams through all phases of work, from conceptual design to construction administration and close-out; coordinating with clients, contractors, and municipal agencies to address zoning, permitting, and engineering requirements; collaborating with internal disciplines such as Geotechnical, Environmental, and Surveying teams to support project needs; performing grading, drainage, and utility calculations and produce accurate construction drawings; and utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HydroCAD software to create detailed plans and perform design tasks.  Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Must know (through academic training or work experience) AutoCAD, Civil 3D modeling software and Roadway Design. May work from home 1 day per week.
