Landscape Design Project Coordinator

Position Summary:

Responsibilities will include various aspects of project development, more specifically in the initial design phase and pre-construction phase including but not limited to site studies, estimating and take offs, concept design, drafting, presentation preparation, and construction document assembly.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with and support project directors and designers through the design and presentation phases.
  •  Perform site analysis/inventory to evaluate existing site conditions, and to create base maps for initial design concepts
  • Assemble estimates and take-offs for budgeting and contract development.
  • At the direction of the project directors develop planting, hardscape, layout, lighting, and construction details for presentation to clients, subcontractors, and for City approvals
  •  Present plans at city meetings for board review and variance requests

 

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Lumion 3D rendering
  •  Knowledge or basic understanding of gathering field measurements, shooting grade and elevation points to build residential site base maps
  • Candidates should be able to work at a fast pace and manage multiple projects at a time.
  • Candidates will work closely with and report to Project Directors, and also with the construction team as projects enter the installation phase.
  • Candidates should hold one or more of the following or commiserate experience MLA, BLA, B. Arch, Certified Draftsman
