Landscape Design Project Coordinator
Position Summary:
Responsibilities will include various aspects of project development, more specifically in the initial design phase and pre-construction phase including but not limited to site studies, estimating and take offs, concept design, drafting, presentation preparation, and construction document assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with and support project directors and designers through the design and presentation phases.
- Perform site analysis/inventory to evaluate existing site conditions, and to create base maps for initial design concepts
- Assemble estimates and take-offs for budgeting and contract development.
- At the direction of the project directors develop planting, hardscape, layout, lighting, and construction details for presentation to clients, subcontractors, and for City approvals
- Present plans at city meetings for board review and variance requests
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, Lumion 3D rendering
- Knowledge or basic understanding of gathering field measurements, shooting grade and elevation points to build residential site base maps
- Candidates should be able to work at a fast pace and manage multiple projects at a time.
- Candidates will work closely with and report to Project Directors, and also with the construction team as projects enter the installation phase.
- Candidates should hold one or more of the following or commiserate experience MLA, BLA, B. Arch, Certified Draftsman
