Mechanical Engineer Internship

The Role

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems. 
  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects and initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance production efficiency and product quality. 
  • Support the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and equipment manuals. 
  • Perform data collection and analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing performance. 
  • Assist in the testing and validation of new equipment and technologies. 
  • Contribute to safety and environmental compliance efforts within the manufacturing facility. 

Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (flexible)
  • Summer Internship

What You’ll Bring

Essential Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry or other related fields
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing processes and systems.  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.  
  • Contribute to safety and environmental compliance efforts within the manufacturing facility.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects and initiatives.  
  • Perform data collection and analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing performance.  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time
