Role Overview

We are looking for a high-energy, driven Sales / Business Development Associate to support new business development initiatives across infrastructure and technology services. This is an excellent opportunity for MBA graduates or recent hires with 0–2 years of experience to learn consultative selling, enterprise sales processes, and client engagement in the infrastructure space.

You will work closely with senior sales leaders, delivery teams, and operations to support lead generation, prospecting, client conversations, and proposal development, with a clear growth path into a full sales ownership role.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales Support

  • Support new business development efforts across enterprise, telecom, data center, and technology clients
  • Research and identify prospective customers, target accounts, and market opportunities
  • Assist in outbound prospecting through email, calls, LinkedIn, and industry events
  • Support senior sales leaders in managing leads, follow-ups, and client communications

Sales Lifecycle Exposure

  • Participate in discovery calls, requirement discussions, and solution positioning
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and basic commercial documentation
  • Learn how to position infrastructure and technology services as solutions to customer problems
  • Track opportunities, activities, and pipeline updates in CRM tools

Market & Industry Learning

  • Develop an understanding of StarTech’s service offerings, including:
    • Data Center Engineering & Operations
    • Fiber Engineering (OSP / ISP / FTTx)
    • Telecom Network Services (Wireless & Wireline)
    • Infrastructure & IT Professional Services
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitors, and customer needs

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • MBA in Sales / Marketing / Business Administration from a U.S. university
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or client-facing roles
    (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Willingness to learn B2B sales, enterprise clients, and technical services
  • Comfortable with outreach, follow-ups, and customer conversations
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to build a career in sales
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings as required

Preferred (Nice to Have)

  • Internship or academic project exposure to B2B sales, consulting, or technology services
  • Interest in infrastructure, telecom, data centers, or enterprise IT
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or market research tools
