This position will learn basics around general aviation and non-hub commercial service airports projects. The intern will be working closely with both the planning and engineering staff, CAD technicians, and inspection field crews. The Intern will benefit from hands-on experience, technical training, mentoring from a professional staff, and working within a positive teamwork environment.
Your Impact:
- Learn the responsibilities of an airport planner
- Fulfill administrative duties for the office
- Assist planning staff
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
- Assist with preparation of Airport Master Plan
Who you are:
- Entry-level experience with sustainability or environmental studies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Background in Aviation or Aviation Management Degree major
- Analytical skills and ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands
- Ability to work in teams and receive mentorship to include constructive criticism
- Strong organizational and communication skills
