Location: Louisville, KY

Role Summary

Pascal is building a new category of supply-chain infrastructure by enabling ground-breaking serialization at barcode-level cost. Our chip-less tagging technology turns everyday products into digitally identifiable assets, unlocking automation and visibility that legacy barcodes and RFID cannot deliver.
We are seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to own the design, integration, and scaling of Pascal’s electrical and automation systems.. This hands-on and mission critical role will work across prototype and early production systems, collaborating closely with R&D, manufacturing, and software teams to design electrical architectures that scale from lab validation to industrial deployment across the largest companies in the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and own electrical systems for manufacturing and products that will be used by the largest companies in the world.
  • Develop and integrate electrical systems including microcontrollers, single-board computers, sensors, cameras, and supporting electronics.
  • Create automation and manufacturing equipment for effective production of millions of tags.
  • Design electrical interfaces and test electronics for prototype and production systems.
  • Develop instrumentation and validation methods to ensure performance, repeatability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with software and manufacturing teams to transition prototype designs into production.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • 0–5 years of experience in electrical engineering, automation, or applied electronics.
  • Experience with microcontrollers, SBCs, sensors, cameras, and electrical interfaces.
  • Expertise in CAD (Solidworks or similar), rapid prototyping, and creating minimum valuable products is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience prototyping and iterating electrical systems from concept to hardware.
