Duties:
Assist environmental characterization teams with the collection and interpretation of soil, sediment and water data. Help develop remedial and removal action reports including cross section and map figures. Develop data quality objectives for sample collection. Interact with DOE, EPA and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) agencies. Research waste water treatment technologies and permit requirements for investigation derived waste water. Observe well drilling and logging for groundwater projects.
Job-Related Qualifications Required:
Enrolled in a physical science or engineering program
Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and GPS
GIS experience is a plus
The 2026 UCOR Summer Internship Program is a 12-week program held from late May to early August. You must be able to be onsite for the entire internship program.
