Position Overview
We’re looking for a proactive Landscape Construction Foreman to lead and oversee daily field operations of our construction crew in the Mobile Metropolitan Area. This full-time, on-site leadership role is hands-on and dynamic—perfect for someone who thrives managing crews, coordinating complex projects, and handling technical tasks such as equipment operation and irrigation wiring. As Foreman, you’ll ensure projects meet our high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency while mentoring a motivated team to deliver exceptional landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, train, and mentor crew members to build a skilled, motivated team ready to deliver top-tier landscape and irrigation installations.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, general contractors, and site stakeholders to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
Project & Resource Management
• Plan and manage high-volume landscape construction projects from start to finish, optimizing resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitor labor hours, productivity, and manpower to maintain profitability and efficiency.
• Manage material requests and coordinate timely delivery from internal teams and vendors.
Quality & Safety Oversight
• Conduct regular site inspections, enforce safety protocols, and maintain accurate safety records to promote a zero-incident environment.
• Oversee job site quality control, performing inspections and implementing corrective actions to uphold JubileeScape’s standards.
Technical Expertise
• Operate heavy equipment safely and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Handle low-voltage wiring for irrigation and landscape lighting installations.
• Interpret blueprints, landscape plans, and specifications to guide accurate installation.
• Inspect and verify material deliveries for quality and accuracy.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in landscape construction or a related field, with a successful track record managing crews and projects.
• Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and loaders.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation installation, low-voltage wiring, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with hardscape installations like paver patios and retaining walls.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, landscape plans, and construction specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred: Degree or certification in Construction Management, Horticulture, or related field; CLT (Certified Landscape Technician), OSHA 10 (or higher), or similar credentials; Class A CDL.
