Project Manager

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

SAS/TTH is looking for a responsible, team-oriented, a reliable candidate to add to the Project Management team. Project Managers are responsible for maintaining contacts with existing customers and generating new customer business. A qualified candidate will receive customer data and reviewing with the applicable internal departments to analyze part requirements, resources, availability of materials, timing, etc. and will communicate requirements with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and the customer.     

This job is ideal for new grads who enjoy customer interaction and project management.  It is also ideal for grads with engineering background.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quoting

a)      Review incoming projects and recommend the best manufacturing process

b)     Analyze part requirements

c)      Evaluate timing and availability of materials

d)     Prepare pricing and follow up with the customer

Managing Projects

a)      Job entry and oversight through project completion

b)     Coordinating with various internal departments

c)      Update customer on timing and direct questions about the project

d)     Aiding in customer and organizational growth

Customer Communication

a)      Build relationships with dedicated accounts

b)     Customer meetings and tours of facility

c)      Update customers on new capabilities or processes

d)     Cross coverage for Project Managers

e)     Trade show participation

QUALIFICATIONS

·        Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Business) or equivalent experience

·        Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

·        Experience in customer service is preferred

·        Knowledge of manufacturing processes is preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

·        Ability to perform tasks in a seated position for extended periods

·        Keyboarding for extended periods

·        Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently

·        Strong communication skills

·        Team oriented
