Applications Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a technically skilled and customer-focused Applications Engineer to support our growing base of global customers. In this role, you will provide both technical and commercial support for our UV-C LED products, helping customers apply this technology to their specific applications. You’ll work closely with internal teams across sales, engineering, manufacturing, and R&D, while directly interfacing with customers across multiple industries.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Rapidly develop deep technical expertise in our UV-C LED products and disinfection applications.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend or tailor product solutions using existing designs or adaptations.
• Provide accurate and timely technical quotations aligned with product capabilities and customer requirements.
• Prepare and maintain detailed product and project documentation.
• Translate customer specifications and requirements into actionable inputs for design and manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate directly with customers to address application challenges, develop custom solutions, and interpret technical specifications, industry standards, and engineering drawings.
• Support sales and marketing by contributing to technical content including whitepapers, presentations, and case studies.
• Represent AquiSense at regional and national trade shows and industry conferences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Sciences.
• Some experience in the water and/or wastewater treatment market; specifically focused on treatment processes and applications.
• Ability to understand and convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in interpreting technical drawings, industry standards, and customer specifications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing and presentation development.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
