Architect
Summary/Objective
Utilize available technology and resources to collaborate on design and construction projects.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform pre-design feasibility assessments, soil verification, utility availability, and project cost analysis.
- Coordinate project team and designs, ensuring code and accessibility compliance, drawing creation, and proper documentation.
- Oversee construction contract administration and consultant design delivery administration.
- Evaluate building envelope maintenance issues.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Four (4) years of professional experience in architecture design.
- Current architect licensure in the state of Missouri.
- A valid, current driver's license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to prepare technical specifications.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate between engineers, contractors and construction superintendents.
- Working knowledge of standard business software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to use office equipment, such as copier, multi-line phone system, fax machine, scanner, and computer.
- Advanced knowledge of architectural design software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, or similar.
- Knowledge of project management principles.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and sustain positive working relationships.
Work Environment
- Significant portion of work is performed in varying field environments.
Physical Abilities
- Remain in a stationary position 70% or more of the time.
- Move about inside the office to access files and/or machinery, etc.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
- Frequently communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
- Regularly lift up to 5 pounds, correctly lift up to 10 pounds.
- Concentrated attention is required at all times.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
