Essential Duties
Support the manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams through execution of assigned projects in our injection molding and assembly areas.  Projects will consist of continuous improvements in production cost/efficiency, quality, safety/environmental, delivery, and etc.  Projects can include mechanical design, PLC and/or robot programming, time studies, installation of tooling/fixtures, documentation of procedures, and troubleshooting equipment and processes.

This role will require a hands on approach to drive projects to completion in a timely manner, interaction with people from all levels of the company, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Computer Skills

  • Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • AutoCAD (desired)
  • 3D CAD (Solidworks/NX/Creo/OnShape) (desired)

Protective Equipment Required 

  • Protective eye wear while in plant.
  • Steel toed shoes while in plant areas.
  • Designated PPE required for specific tasks and areas. Ref: PPE Symbols and Guidance 640EHS3649.
  • Flash protection.

Work near moving mechanical parts-equipment development involves working around Milling Machines, Moving Robots, Clamps, moving devices and ETC. fumes or airborne particles- times may occur when fumes or particles are present to get product in desired state. Toxic or caustic chemicals- times may occur when such chemicals are used to get product into a desired state. Risk of electrical shock- any control wiring has a risk of electrical shock.
