What You'll Do:

As our newest Biomedical Technician, you'll dive into the exciting world of healthcare technology, maintaining and repairing a wide variety of biomedical equipment that medical professionals rely on every day. You'll be hands-on with cutting-edge medical equipment while developing valuable technical skills that can propel your career forward.

Every preventive maintenance check you perform and every repair you complete directly contributes to patient safety and care quality. Your work ensures that healthcare providers have reliable equipment when they need it most!

Schedule:

Monday- Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Compensation:

  • Starting hourly rate of $24.50/hour.
  • Biomed Technicians are eligible to participate in a quarterly incentive plan and can earn even more with a 5% target in incentive pay!

  • You're a recent graduate or early in your technical career (0-1 years’ experience welcome!)
  • Willing to learn the process of diagnosing and ultimately servicing various biomedical equipment
  • You have a passion for healthcare technology and helping others
  • You enjoy hands-on work and solving technical puzzles
  • You're eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment

Your Day-to-Day Adventures:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a variety biomedical equipment
  • Collaborate with and assist PM technicians, building valuable teamwork skills
  • Maintain an organized, safe workspace that promotes efficiency
  • Document your work and reports accurately in our database systems
  • Participate in our department on-call rotation
  • Meet production goals set for the department and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify training needs for self

What You Bring to the Team:

  • Associate degree in an electronic field (biomedical preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic troubleshooting abilities and eagerness to develop advanced skills
  • Basic knowledge of electronics, electricity, electro-mechanical, fluidics, pneumatics and hydraulic theories and practices
  • Some knowledge of various hospital/homecare medical equipment
  • Computer literacy and with an understanding of database operations
  • Understanding of and ability to operate basic electronic test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
  • Organizational skills and time management abilities
  • Strong work ethic, a growth mindset, and commitment to quality work
  • Professionalism and a mature sense of accountability
